IT and Cyber Security Course
This course is being run face to face at the Puckrup Hall Hotel, Tewkesbury, GL20 6EL.
The course starts at 9am and is expected to finish by 5pm.
There is the option to add accommodation and a networking dinner on the evening prior to the course.
Please note that DISA is unable to reserve accommodation for you after the event. If you require accommodation, please book this yourself directly through the hotel and then let the admin team know so that the same room can be reserved for you. If you would like to take the exam, please tick the box on the booking form.
Course Objectives:
The course aims to provide a foundation for personnel who are NOT IT specialists but will be required to handle classified information using IT.
It will provide a base-level understanding of general IT terminology to enable attendees to converse about IT issues in relation to Information and Cyber security within the HMG supply chain.
It will also provide attendees with a broad understanding of information and cyber security in the government supply chain, plus the ability to understand key aspects of Cyber Essentials and methods of compliance with the Security Policy Framework.

Who should attend?
This Course is aimed at Security Controllers and Project Managers who need an overview of IT and Cyber Security but are not IT Specialists.
This course is open to both members and non-members.
