DISA COVID AMENDMENTS
Due to the Social Distancing regulations imposed by the Government to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 DISA have suspended all face to face meetings and training courses. We will now be delivering our training courses as a mix of online tutor led presentations and/or videos with follow up tutorials.
PLEASE NOTE, WE CANNOT CURRENTLY OFFER COURSE EXAMS but are actively looking at ways we can deliver these in the future for students who attend our online courses.
All courses will be run over Microsoft Teams. If you have not used this package before we can arrange a 'test' session for you through the office prior to the course.
NEW FOR 2021 - MODULAR TRAINING OPTIONS
As the courses are being run online we now have the opportunity to offer more flexibility for those who want to attend more than one of our courses. There is, necessarily, a certain amount of overlap between the courses because it is important that all delegates understand the overarching principles of security in Government before addressing the practitioner modules of the courses as they relate to Industry.
For the first time we can offer students who undertake either the Role of the Security Controller Course or the Security Vetting Procedures Course the opportunity to add the practitioner modules from other DISA courses. Each additional module will be approximately half the price of the full course and require a shorter time commitment.
Students will be given access to watch the pre-recorded videos on the day of the same full course (Vetting or Document) and then attend a one hour live tutorial and Q&A session with the course tutors and other students who are doing the practitioner modules, so students will know some of the faces from their previous course.
Students still have the option to book onto the full courses if they would prefer to receive access to all the course material and interact with the other students on the full course.
It is a condition of booking that payment must be made before the date of the course. Joining instructions will be forwarded direct to delegates approximately 2 weeks before commencement of the course, provided payment has been received.
Cancellation & Transfer Policy
If you have to cancel your booking please do so in writing by email, fax or letter.
Cancellations made 30 working days or more before a course start date will not incur a charge. Cancellations made later than 30 working days, but not less than 14 working days before a course start date, will incur a 25% administration fee. Cancellations made less than 14 working days before a course start date will incur the cost of the full course fee. Failure to attend a course will be regarded as a less than 14 day cancellation and your payment will be forfeited.
If you wish to transfer your booking to a different course please do so in writing by email, fax or letter. Transfer requests made between 30 and 14 working days before the original course start date will incur a 25% administration fee. Transfer requests made less than 14 working days before a course start date will incur the full cost of course.
If you wish to transfer your booking to another person please do so in writing by email, fax or letter. Transfers to another person made before 14 working days of the course start date will not incur a charge. Transfers to another person made less than 14 workings days before the course start date will incur a 25% administration fee.
Fees: Fees are correct at time of printing, but may be subject to adjustment as notified at the time of booking.
